30th issue

Dear Readers,

There are two countries in the world, far from each other, with approximately the same area and the same population. But while one has oil erupting from the depths of the earth, the other has thermal springs gurgling below the surface of its land. Did you guess the countries are Azerbaijan and Hungary? This issue takes you to both places. In our Portrétár section we interviewed Atakishiyev Husseyn, a hotel manager, who added Hungarian to his many languages. Our Országismeret and Fókuszban sections explore Hungary’s thermal waters and spas.

Still on the topic of tourism, we asked Balázs Kovács, an expert on tourism living in Vienna about his experiences. He speaks about the differences of the Austrian and Hungarian tourism industry with arresting candour.

Painter Boglárka Nagy talks about her life, work, and travel in conjunction with her series Napfény, víz, levegő.

Tarkabarka continues with our new series titled módSZERtár for the benefit of our fellow teachers. This time the PontHU team offers a set of useful exercises on verbal prefixes.

Reading our articles, perhaps you will feel inclined to visit one of the Hungarian spas. We wish you happy relaxation and recreation.
